PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system executing a preview function where an accurate preview image can be confirmed quickly and easily without requiring transmission/reception of a large volume of data. SOLUTION: The language analyzing section 23 of a printer 20 converts print data received from a host computer 10 through a data transmission line 30 into intermediate data which is then developed to print image data at a printer intermediate data analyzing section 25. In response to an input from an input unit 14, a host computer 10 sends back the intermediate data from the printer 20. The intermediate data is developed, at a host intermediate data analyzing section 31, to display image data and a preview image is presented on a display 11. |
