<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercising machine capable of being used to do wide variety of exercises. SOLUTION: This exercising machine is provided with an upright frame (11), a pair of cables (48, 49) adapted to be pulled by an exercising person, piled weights (31) supported by the frame (11) and individually resisting tensile force exerted on each of the cables (48, 49), a pair of carriages (43) mounted on the frame (11) and adapted to be adjusted at various heights, and pulley blocks (42) over which the cables (48, 49) are hooked in a condition such as to be mounted on the carriages (43). Each of the pulley blocks (42) rotates freely on two rotary axes and tracks the cables (48, 49) to remain aligned with the cables (48, 49) without reference to tensile directions of the cables (48, 49). Additionally, the exercising machine is provided with leg parts (26) mounted on the frame (11) in a manner such as to be free to be interlocked between support positions and storage positions, an interlock means capable of engaging between the leg parts (26) and the piled weights (31) and preventing the piled weights (31) from being hoisted at the storage positions of the leg parts (26), and a fully adjustable bench (108).</p> |
