PURPOSE: A method for preparing malt/insam powder packed in a tea bag for sweet drink made from fermented rice is provided to serve a functional sweet drink containing ingredients of insam and having unique flavor. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the following steps of: (i) pulverizing malt into 20-80mesh with maintaining the temperature at least 70deg.C by letting cold air continuously thereto; (ii) adding 5-40wt% of insam, 50-100wt% of sugar and 0.3-0.8wt% of stevion to 100wt% of the pulverized malt; (iii) adding 5-10wt% of water to the mixture and spreading the slightly wet mixture on a flat plate before hot air drying the mixture to at least 70deg.C; and (iv) shaking the dehydrated mixture in 1-3mm of net and packing a fixed amount of seasoned malt granules passed through the net with nonwoven fabric.
