摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a friction joining method of aluminum or aluminum alloy which is less heat influence and hard to soften caused on joining and can obtain the joint having the high joining strength of the same grade as like as the base material. CONSTITUTION:The timing of the up-set is taken at the point of time when both contact or before point of time than the above, by approaching and moving the other member to a member rotating. In such a way, the pre-heating (friction) process is eliminated, in the extra short time until stopping the rotation of motor driving the rotating member, the both members are applied by the up-set pressure from the primary time and executed with friction joining. Therefore, the range which receives the heat influence is remarkably narrow, so following to this, the softening of the base material of neighborhood of joint part can be controlled, the joint of high strength can be obtained.
