VECTOR RESISTOR FILE USING RANDOM VECTOR ADDRESSING

PURPOSE: A vector resistor file using random vector addressing is provided to optimize performance in all operation modes in the same structure, so minimizing a program size. CONSTITUTION: The system for processing operation to use data vectors respectively containing plural data elements comprises a vector data file(206) provided with plural storage elements for storing the data elements of the data vectors. A pointer array(202) is connected to the vector data file by a bus. The pointer array is provided with plural entries and each of entries identifies at least one storage element in the vector data file. At least one storage element stores at least one data element of the data vector and at least one storage element identified by the specified entry has the arbitrary start address of the vector data file to at least one entry of the pointer array.
