PURPOSE: A jig for building a ship is provided to strengthen bond strength of a clamp and a body by slantly forming the upper part of the clamp, solve clamping defects by using a wedge as a fixing means fixing a horizontal part, and stably fixing, thereby weld coupling an inverted "L" shaped welding structure as well as a "T" shaped welding structure by installing one more subsidiary fixing stand at the opposite side of the body in such a manner that the subsidiary fixing stand can be detached or attached. CONSTITUTION: The jig for building a ship comprises an elevation control jig consisting of a "T" shaped body (5), a clamp (8) and a clamping means, wherein a wedge inserting element (15) which is installed at the lower part of the opposite side of the body (5) where the clamp (8) is installed, wherein a wedge inserting hole (14) is formed with being penetrated downwardly, and wherein fixing stand inserting holes (16) are penetrated on the upper part of the body (5) of the outer sides on the imaginary vertical lines of both sides of the wedge inserting element (15); a subsidiary fixing stand (22) which consists an inserting and coupling part (19) projected from the upper part of which is the opposite side to the body (5) where the clamp (8) is installed, wherein a wedge inserting hole (18) horizontally penetrates the inserting and coupling part (19), an inserting groove (20) horizontally cut into the lower part of the inner side of which is corresponding to an inserting groove (7) of the clamp (8), and at the outer side of the upper part of which a combination handle and long hole (21) is formed so that the inserting and coupling part (19) inserted into the fixing stand inserting holes (16); and a wedge which is installed in the wedge inserting hole (18) of the inserting and coupling part (19), wherein the fixing stand inserting holes (16) are penetrated by the inserting and coupling part (19) that is projected from the back side of the body (5).
