The invention relates to a device which supplies a definite proof of the passengers who have not fastened the belt. Said proof discharges the car manufacturer, aircraft manufacturer or the airline company from the claim for compensation and from paying the cost of treatment. The inventive device detects the moment of the accident and the moments of several collisions or several turbulences. The accident data, impact detection elements of the security belts, display lamps and/or security devices provide signs of proof in the case of any accident, regardless if the passengers had fastened their security belts or not. The aim of the invention is to detect the service life. The device detects how often belts have been used, drawn-out and/or detects the number of blockings. When the service life is exceeded, the warning lamp flashes and/or the multi-info display (screen) indicates that exchange of the security belts, belt retractors and/or clamping devices is required. It can thus be detected who is responsible for the failure of the restraint systems. |
