<p>A rocking chair (1) comprises a non-rocking base (5) and a seat (2), the seat (2) being rockably mounted on the non-rocking base (5) via contacting rocking surfaces (6, 7) thereof. A reaction member (11) is connected to the non-rocking base (5) on one or both sides of the seat (2) so that an occupant of the seat (2) may apply a force by hand or arm to the reaction member or members (11) to tilt the seat (2) rearwardly or rock the seat (2).</p> |
