PURPOSE: A web site access increasing system and method is provided to grant an online event application function to a plurality of web sites hoping many accesses over the Internet, and enable a search engine to search speedily the web sites and to allow a user to access and apply for an event participation over the searched web site so that it can increase the number of the web site access. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of a user accessing a search engine service site of a search engine management server(S10), the user subscribing for a member(S11), the user obtaining an account with an ID and a password(S12), the search engine management server performing a search operation on the web sites with an event application function, and displaying a search result(S13), the management server detecting if the user tries to access one among the searched web sites(S14), the management server transmitting the web page of the web site selected by the user(S15), the management server displaying the web page on a specific pop up window(S16), the management server requesting the user to input the ID and password offered when the user subscribes for a member(S17), the management server enabling the user to selecting a combinational application number in an event application number selection pop up window(S22), and the management server extracting a final application number by combining the input application number with a resident registration number or a password, and transmitting the final application number to an application management server(S23).
