PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of demodulating without being influenced by the output fluctuation of a frequency-modulated transmit signal. SOLUTION: An oscillator 11 outputs a frequency-modulated radio wave to a switching circuit 12 through a directional coupler 13. The switching circuit 12 modulates the radio wave by switching and emits it from a transmitting antenna 14. A transmit signal emitted from the transmitting antenna 12 is reflected by an obstruction and received by a receiving antenna 21. A mixer 22 mixes the input signal and a local signal from the directional coupler 13 and outputs a mixed signal S1 to a high-pass filter 23. The filter 23 eliminates the output fluctuation noise of low frequency generated in the frequency modulation of the oscillator 11 included in the mixed signal S1. A mixed signal S2 from which noise is eliminated, is demodulated by a switching demodulating circuit 25 through an AC amplifier 24.
