<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming device and an image forming method by which a high-durability, stable and excellent image is obtained even under a severe environmental condition such as under high temperature and high humidity in a system for electrifying the surface of an electrophotographic photoreceptor to a specified potential by utilizing a contact electrifying system where the production of ozone is restrained to be small. SOLUTION: In this image forming device provided with the electrophotographic photoreceptor and respective electrifying, exposing, developing, transferring and cleaning means, a toner image is formed on the photoreceptor and then transferred to transfer material. The electrifying means is an electrifying member arranged in contact with the surface of the photoreceptor, and the abrasion lossΔHd (μm) of film thickness per one rotation of the photoreceptor is 0 to 1×10-5, and the variation coefficient of the shape factor of toner used in the developing means is <=16% and number variation coefficient in number grain size distribution is <=27%.</p> |
