A method for providing contents data to internet terminals (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) connectable to the Internet (4) through a server computer (6) connected to the Internet (4), comprising a description format converting step of converting the description format of the contents data to be distributed to the internet terminals (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) to a description format corresponding to the access method of the internet terminals and a distributing step of distributing the contents data the format of which is converted to the internet terminals.
