PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor and time for exchanging a memory card in a memory card recorder 5 which records or reproduces data to or from the memory card as an IC recording medium by making it possible to record or reproduce plural memory cards 101 successively. SOLUTION: The memory cards 10 are stacked in layers and stored in a cartridge 6, which is loaded in the memory card recorder 5; and the memory cards 101 are supplied in order from the bottom one and recorded or reproduced.
