PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect and reinforce pin contacts of a card adapter of a PC card used to expand functions of a personal computer. SOLUTION: This card adapter 1 has a mounting part 10 on one end of an adapter body 2 to insert and mount a card and a socket connector 3a on the other end of the adapter to be connected to an electronic device. Plural pin contacts 11 to be connected to the card are provided on the electrical junction between the mounting part and the card within the adapter body. The pin contacts are protruded from or retracted into an adapter end face 13 by the interlocking means (14, 15, 12 and 16) of the adapter body 2 according to the insertion or removal of the card. |
