PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer fuel cell that improves binding and water repellency of the catalyst in the electrode of the electrode film joint in a solid polymer fuel cell, and that has a high generation performance and is capable of maintaining the generation performance for a long time. SOLUTION: The catalyst binder material of the electrode is made a mixture of a solid polymer electrolyte and a fluorine resin of non-ion conductivity which is introduced dissolved in a liquid. It is desirable that the fluorine resin material of non-ion conductivity is dissolvable in a non-aqueous solvent in itself. More specifically, it is desirable that it is polyfluorovinylidene and its weight percentage is 5% or more and 80% or less based on total weight of the above catalyst binder material. |
