PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital image forming device which reliably arranges a picture of a designated document in a document group in a double-spread page on the innermost signature of a weekly magazine binding mode by easy operation. SOLUTION: An image reader IR is provided which reads pictures of documents of a plurality of pages and outputs picture data of each picture. A printer PRT is provided which forms images on both faces of sheets on the basis of inputted picture data. Printed matters in the weekly magazine binding mode are obtained by the printer PRT, and a layout setting means sets layout on each sheet of the document read by the image reader IR so that the picture of the designated document out of documents of the plurality of pages may be arranged in the double-spread page on the innermost signature of the weekly magazine binding mode. On the basis of setting by the layout setting means, a control means changes the order of picture data outputted from the image reader IR and inputs picture data to the printer PRT.
