PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize scanning of white or color original, without having to boost the interface signal, between controllers in a copy-print composite apparatus which requires plural times of scanning for formation of a color image. SOLUTION: In the copy and print composite apparatus involving a reader controller 106 control an image reader section between a printer controller 2103 and an engine controller 2002, the number of scanning times for reading an image is controlled, to change from one time to plural number of times according to the kinds of the originals which are read through a reader 101 or a host computer. At a white original mode for the image read mode, the number of scanning times of image reading for reading one image is set to one time, and at full color original mode, the number of scanning times for image reading for reading one image is set to three times or to four times. |
