<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a millimeter-wave radar device provided with the function for improving detecting performance, improving target detecting accuracy at the beam end, following the movement of a target well with the same accuracy as the beam center, positively separating and detecting a plurality of targets and positively judging the presence of a stopped vehicle on the lane of one's own vehicle. SOLUTION: In this millimeter-wave radar device 3 detecting at least one of distance, relative speed and an azimuth to an object to be measured, a detecting area is divided in three kinds of areas which are an area A (beam end: maximum dispersion) 70, an area B (beam center and short range: small dispersion) 71, and an area C (beam center and long range: medium dispersion) 72. The filter gain of a tracker filter of the millimeter-wave radar device 3 is variably set according to which area the object to be measured exists out of threes areas.</p> |
