PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which well executes image recording by devising the shape of a rubber roller so as to eliminate the projecting parts of the surface of the rubber roller or to diminish and stabilize the rubber roller and stably transporting sheet-like photosensitive films in a sub-scanning direction without speed fluctuations. SOLUTION: This image recorder has an upstream side roller pair for grasping and feeding the sheet-like photosensitive films F toward a developing section and a downstream side roller pair 148 consisting of a pair of revolving rollers. The one revolving roller of a pair of the downstream side rollers is the rubber roller 22b and the downstream side roller pair revolves while parting at a spacing narrower than the thickness of the sheet-like photosensitive films to be transported. While the sheet-like photosensitive films are transported by the upstream side roller pair and the downstream side roller pair, the sheet-like photosensitive films are irradiated with a laser beam under sub-scanning. The end faces 22h and 22i of the rubber roller of the downstream side roller pair are chamfered to incline at an angle a below 45 deg. from their peripheral surfaces.
