PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fin for heat exchanger the performance of which can be improved further. SOLUTION: This fin for heat exchanger is formed in such a way that a plurality of louver fins 11 is arranged in parallel with each other at a prescribed interval so that a ventilation path 15 may be formed between the fins 11 and a plurality of louvers 12 is formed by cutting and raising the fins 11 at prescribed intervals along the path 15. The cutting and raising anglesθof the louvers 12, the forming intervals Lp of the louvers 12, the interval Fp between the fins 11, and the positional deviations Ld of the louvers 12 between the adjacent louver fins 11 in the arranging direction of the louvers 12 are decided to meet the relational expression of 1<=Fp/(Lp.tanθ-Ld)<=3.
