PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To largely reduce the labor of a user, and to realize efficient data distribution by automatically designation an output device at the destination of distribution related with data to be distributed even when any corresponding relation between the destination of distribution of data and an output device is unknown at the time of distributing data, or even when the output device at the destination of distribution is not inputted or designated each time. SOLUTION: At the time of distributing a document file, a server computer SVR decides the destination of distribution related with the document file by referring to an organization hierarchy information table. Then, an output device arrangement destination information table is retrieved based on the decided destination of distribution, and one of printing devices P1, P2, P3, etc., and FAX equipment F1, F2, etc., is selected as the pertinent output device, and the document file is distributed to the output device.
