摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress external disturbance, such as vibration in mechanical scanning of a mechanical driven antenna, because the disturbance causes disturbance in an image at communication. SOLUTION: This antenna is provided with a mechanical drive mechanism 14, that is turned about one axis within a limited range, a beam-directing antenna that is formed by attaching element antenna 1-1 to 1-i included in sub array antennas 6-1 to 6-m onto a surface of a conformal shape structure 17, a switch matrix 7 that selects a communication signal and provides an output to a beam-directing antenna, transmitters 11-1 to 11-n that supply the communication signal to the switch matrix 7, and a controller 13 that calculates a drive control signal of the mechanical drive mechanism 14, a connection control signal of the switch matrix 7, and a phase control signal of the element antennas 1-1 to 1-i. The mechanical drive mechanism 14 is rotated to fix the beam major axial direction into the direction of a communication opposite party and the connection of the switch matrix 7 is switched to apply phase control to the element antennas for beam scanning.
