A fuel cell is disclosed, comprising an anode part with an inlet and an outlet for a fuel, a cathode part with an inlet and an outlet for an oxidising agent and a membrane situated between the anode part and the cathode part. Conventionally, little flow is apparent in the rearmost section of the fuel cell, when considered in the direction of flow, such that the supply for the membrane of the fuel and the oxidising agent only occurs by diffusion. According to the invention, the resulting low power density of the fuel cell may be compensated, whereby at least one transport mechanism, for example, an injector, is provided to support the introduction and perfusion of the fuel cell with fuel and/or oxidising agent. The rearmost section of the fuel cell and the membrane can be directly reached by means of the transport mechanism. |
