<p>A method and apparatus for remotely controlling server command execution by a client computer are presented. The client is connected through a first general web server (58) to a plurality of servers. The client communicates with the first server using a first language, and the first werver communicates with each of the servers within the plurality of server suing a language necessary to accomplish the desired tack. The language used is determined using the operating environment, the first server consults a rule to identify a set of server commands in a second language which is equivalent to the client command, and then concults capability table to determine one or more servers configured to execute each command.</p> |
