<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable operator to set data maintaining time as he likes since device stops operation. SOLUTION: The information processing device has a backup memory 105 which maintains data by battery and stops operation by a main battery 101 and uses the battery 101 for only maintaining data in the memory 105 when the battery 101 become weak. The information processing device monitors the voltage of the battery 101 and provides a battery voltage detector 103 which detects the rest of capacity of the battery 101, an input device 107 which sets battery voltage to stop operation by battery, and a control section 104. The information processing device enables operator to change battery voltage to stop operation by battery as he like by the device 107. Therefore, operator can extend backup time of the memory 105 at need.</p> |
