PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit that can generate one image, by which the state or the like of a mobile body and a still background can easily and surely be visually recognized, from an image group consisting of a series of images. SOLUTION: Images of a consecutive shot image group are treated in planes, the shot sequence is configured so that a precedingly shot image becomes an upper plane, the transparency of each plane depends on total number of images in the image group, transparent processing to provide higher transparency upper planes is applied to the planes depending on the decided transparency, and one image is generated by deciding a color to be the color of a pixel in each plane after the transparent processing when the least same color among colors of pixels at one pixel position is a single color or deciding a color of an upper plane to be the color of a pixel when the least same colors are in existence among the colors of the pixels at the one pixel position. |
