PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform editing work only by designating desired conditions by an operator. SOLUTION: Management data and AV data are recorded on an optical disk, and user definition PGC information is added to management information at editing. When editing under specified conditions is designated by the input indication of the operator, original PGC information is automatically retrieved, and only a cell which agrees with the conditions is added to user definition PGC.
