PURPOSE: A door-lock apparatus with a reduction gear assembly is provided to smoothly perform the opening and shutting operation by minimizing the capacity of a driving motor. CONSTITUTION: A door-lock opens and shuts a door(1) by moving a dead-bolt(11) forward and backward in an automatic or manual manner through a motor(M) which is operated in response to an electrical signal of a controller. The door-lock is rotated by the driving force of the motor(M). The speed of revolution of a reduction rear assembly(100) is reduced and the torque of revolution thereof is increased due to the outer circumference of a pitch is increased as it goes to the end thereof. A jointing gear(200) is rotated with the reduction rear assembly(100). A fan-shaped operating gear(300) moves the dead-bolt(11) in a forward and backward. The reduction rear assembly(100) and the jointing gear(200) are each a spur gear.
