PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify assembling and disassembling works and a boot replacing work, to improve the vehicle performance, and to reduce the weight and the size. SOLUTION: In an axle module having a wheel bearing 21 and a constant velocity universal joint 22 as a unit and connecting a drive shaft 24 to the constant velocity universal joint 22 one end of a stub shaft 23 is connected to a joint inner ring 50 of the constant velocity universal joint via torque transmission parts 60 and 60, one end of the drive shaft 24 is connected to the other end of the stub shaft 23 via torque transmission parts 65 and 66, a screw part 67 is formed in either one of the outer diameter of the drive shaft 24 or the stub shaft 23, and a locating snap ring 70 is fitted to an annular grooves 72 and 73 formed in the other outside diameter of the drive shaft 24 or the stub shaft 23 and the inside diameter of nut member 68 so that the nut member 68 is made rotatable in its axially regulated state. |
