PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device that enables an operation of an external device connected to the charging device to properly conduct. SOLUTION: The charging device 10 feeds a power of a second power circuit 22B that feeds a power to a control unit 26 to a control unit 41 of an adapter 30 through output terminals t3, t4. As a stabilized 5 V voltage for control is fed instead of a charging current cumulated with a switching noise from a first power circuit 22A, the control unit 41 of the adapter 30 is able to exactly detect the temperature of a battery 58 judging from an electric potential of a temperature-detecting resistor R2 that is connected in series to a thermistor TM of a battery pack 50B, and also able to properly control the charging operation.
