摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable quick determination of the angle of refraction or the propagation velocity of an ultrasonic wave in the incidence of the ultrasonic wave, even if a specimen is acoustically anisotropic in an ultrasonic flaw detector and moreover, holding of the angle of refraction within a fixed range as required by eventually specifying the position of a defect in a short time. SOLUTION: Array probes 202 and 203 are arranged, by dividing the conventional staircase-shaped array probe as single structure in two. By having the conventional array probe divided in two and array probes 201 and 203 and array probes 202 and 204 shifted in the direction along a guide rail 10, angle beam probes 211 and 212 used for the measurement of the angle of refraction of an ultrasonic wave incident into a specimen can be arranged side by side, between the array probes 203 and 204.</p>
