<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the improvement of a transient characteristic and the stabilization of action of a magnetron driving circuit used for the generation or the like of transmission pulse of a radar device. SOLUTION: This magnetron driving circuit is constituted to series-connect a primary winding of a step-up transformer T and a switching transistor to a DC power supply HV and to supply driving pulse to a control electrode of the switching transistor to make the switching transistor temporarily conductive, thereby supplying high-tension pulse to an electrode of a magnetron MG connected to a secondary winding of the step-up transformer T, to drive the magnetron MG. In the magnetron driving circuit, the switching transistor is composed of two cascode-connected transistors Q1, Q2 to realize the improvement of a transient characteristic by suppressing a mirror effect, and the stabilization of oscillating action of the magnetron MG by the increase of output impedance.</p> |
