DISTRIBUTED TRANSVERSAL RETRIEVAL SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transversal retrieval system to enable efficient distribution of a processing load. SOLUTION: The processing load is distributed by distributing software components to constitute the transversal system to plural computers by applying distributed processing technique to the transversal retrieval system. The system is provide with a retrieval request processing object to accept a retrieval request from a user terminal, a retrieval object factory to generate a retrieval object according to the retrieval request from the user terminal, the retrieval object generated by the retrieval object factory and a conversion object by every retrieval system to perform communication with the retrieval system according to the request from the retrieval object. The plural objects are realized by CORBA and communication with the user terminal is realized by HTTP.
