PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cross-connect device having transparency capable of accommodating a transmission format and the various optical signals different in transmission speed according thereto. SOLUTION: This optical cross-connect device has a demultiplexer 110 for demultiplexing an input optical signal by channels, many arbitrary transmission optical receivers 120 for converting the optical signals by channels outputted from the demultiplexer to electric signals and reproducing a clock signal and data by a reference clock signal to be generated according to the transmission speed of the electric signal, a cross-connect switch 130 for path-routing the electric signals outputted from the arbitrary transmission optical receivers, a controller 140 for controlling the path-routing operation of the crossconnect switch, many arbitrary transmission optical transmitters 150 for converting electric signals outputted from the respective output ports of the cross-connect switch to optical signals again, and a multiplexer 160 for multiplexing the optical signal outputted from each of arbitrary transmission optical transmitters through one optical fiber.
