PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability for setting of a user mode and a standard processing mode by easily setting these modes when restoring an operation mode from an energy saving mode. SOLUTION: The picture processor is provided with a picture processing means PTR/SCR, an operation power line 50, a means OPB/43/44 which inputs a power saving setting indication and a power saving release indication, a standby power line 51, and power saving switching means 49, 52, and 53 which stores the picture processing mode in an NVRAM 64 to set the power saving mode at the time of elapse of a set time Td after the end of picture processing or issue of a power saving setting indication and which switches the mode to the operation mode capable of picture processing in accordance with the power saving release indication, a switching indication means 55 operated by a user and mode switching means (53: 38, 39, and 28 to 33 in Figure 6) which sets one of the preceding processing mode or the standard processing mode in the NVRAM as the processing mode and which changes setting to the other in accordance with the switching indication means 55 when setting the operation mode. |
