PURPOSE: An operation/standby guide system having an Internet phone function is provided to embody an Internet phone using a guide terminal having a battery for supplying an operation power when the power failure or the emergency is generated. CONSTITUTION: A signal input unit(21) generates a conversation line request signal, a dialing signal, or a conversation line stop signal according to an operation of a user. A communication interface unit(22) converts conversation line forming signals inputted from the signal input unit(21) into a communication protocol according to a control signal inputted from the outside to transmit the communication protocol through a communication network, converts a voice signal of the user inputted from the outside into a communication protocol in case that a conversation line is formed to transmit the communication protocol through the communication network, and receives a voice signal of an object transmitted from the communication network. A transceiver(23) outputs the voice signal of the user to the communication interface unit(22) according to the control signal inputted from the outside and outputs the voice signal of the object inputted from the communication interface unit(22) to the user. A control unit(24) controls the communication interface unit(22) according to the conversation line request signal and the dialing signal inputted through the signal input unit(21) for forming the conversation line with the object through the communication network, and controls the transceiver(23) in case that the conversation line is formed for performing the conversation with the object.
