<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data decoder that can select an optimum tool and efficiently decode coded data in a short time by comparing the information denoting each tool with the received information which denotes the optimum tool in the case of using the tool received at the same time, when the coded information is received to decode the coded information. SOLUTION: The data decoder is provided with a network interface 46, that receives information denoting a tool required to configure a decoding algorithm for decoding coded data together with the coded data from a data encoder, a tool storage section 43 that stores tools, and an arithmetic processing section 44 that selects a tool, corresponding to the information denoting the received tool from the stored tools, and that uses the selected tool to configure the decoding algorithm and decodes the received coded data according to the decoding algorithm.</p> |
