PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card peripheral device having functions to cover the contacts without exposing when the device is not in use. SOLUTION: This card peripheral device consists of a circuit board 12, a connector 14 having plural contacts for connecting the circuit board 12 with another device, and a hollow card box 16 with an opening 30 for exposing the contact point 18 against another device which can house and fix the circuit board 12 together with a connector 14 to slide. The connector 14 has a slide knob 24 moving inside the aperture 32 in two modes: the open mode where the contact points 18 are exposed from the aperture 30 to connect to another device and the closed mode in which the contact point 18s are retracted inside the box 16 to protect from the outside dusts.
