PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an event recording/reproducing device capable of displaying the contents themselves of a recorded event on a screen. SOLUTION: An event recording/reproduction program 12 records a message connected to a message queue 10a by each device driver 13 in a recording table group 30 as event recording data while adding a guide message corresponding to the contents of the message. At the time of reproduction, the event recording/reproduction program 12 successively reads each event recording data from the recording table group 30, and links the data with the message queue 10a, and displays the guide message added to each recording message at a display 2. The guide message added to the event recording data recorded in the recording table group 30 can be rewritten.
