PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level gauge with a simple structure capable of being easily manufactured and assembled, miniaturized, and easily mounted to an LPG container. SOLUTION: In this level gauge 10, a main body 11 comprises a rotating shaft 30 rotatably supported so as not to be displaced in the axial direction and comprising two helical lead parts 30A, a float 35 advancing and retreating along the rotating shaft 30 according to a vertical displacement of liquid level, a magnet 36 provided in the float 35 and associated with the helical lead part 30A to rotationally drive the rotating shaft 30 accompanied by advance and retreat of the float 35, and a liquid level indicating means 23 for indicating a position of the liquid level according to rotation of the rotating shaft 30. The structure thereby becomes simple and manufacture and assembly become easy while miniaturization can be attained, and since the level gauge can be mounted as an integrated body, the level gauge is easily mounted to the LPG container.
