PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper device capable of maintaining conditions such as a temperature, a humidity and the like set in a timber dryer. SOLUTION: Piston rods 22, 32 are respectively provided in two ducts 20, 30 provided to communicate with an atmosphere through a dryer 10, and fluid cylinders 21, 31 are provided toward duct openings. Dampers 24, 34 for blocking the duct openings are respectively placed on upper ends of the rods 22, 32 of the cylinders 21, 31. A fluid pressure is supplied to forward the rods 22, 32 of the cylinders 21, 31. The dampers 24, 34 respectively have urging means 27, 37 for urging the dampers toward the openings of the ducts 20, 30. One of the two ducts 20, 30 is used for the exhaust duct and the other is used for the supply duct.
