PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stratified burning operation from a start time and minimize delivery of unburnt fuel by applying means of improving fluidity of air, at the time of start when air fluidity is few. SOLUTION: Stable stratified burning is enabled from a start time of an engine (from an initial burning cylinder). Much excessive oxygen remains at the time of exhaust by the stratified burning, and fuel can be supplied again by the oxygen for raising the temperature of exhaust.
