<p>A computer system and GUI (100) are provided to visually represent quantitative data (103). Data is displayed in the form of a two-dimensional, graphical object (101) that allows the user to quickly interpret multi-dimensional data upon visual inspection of the object, typically by representing quantitative aspects of the data by gradations of color. The quantitative results of the assays are represented as gradations of color or gray in the sub-areas (112).
