PURPOSE: A product information exchange method is provided to enable a consumer to obtain product information without a preliminary knowledge on a product, to easily construct a search phrase by designating a phrase of sentence components stored in a database, and to obtain product information by using a corresponding search phrase converted from the original search phrase though the search phrase has no matching product information. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of a user accessing a shopping mall web site(101), the user passing a member certification process(102), the user subscribing for a member(103), initializing a temporary storage buffer(104), inputting an object target phrase in the buffer(105), inputting a state expression phrase(106), checking if the state phrase is input(107), outputting state phrases connected to an upper element and designating one among the connected state phrases in the case that the state phrase is not input(108,109), converting the state phrase into a representative phrase in the case that the state phrase is input(110), storing a state element, the state phrase and a corresponding address at the buffer(111), the user inputting a conditional phrase(112), checking if the conditional phrase is input(113), outputting conditional phrases connected to an upper element and designating one among the connected conditional phrases in the case that the conditional phrase is input(114,115), converting the conditional phrase into a representative phrase in the case that the conditional phrase is input(116), and storing the conditional phrase and the address at the buffer(117).
