PURPOSE: To produce a non-chromium series surface treated metallic sheet material excellent in corrosion resistance, coatability, fingerprint resistance and workability and to provide its producing method. CONSTITUTION: This metallic material is produced by coating the surface of a metallic material with a coating composition consisting of (A) silane coupling agent components, (B) polymer components each having specified chemical structure and (C) wax components.
