PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of easily measuring/ determining a bit error rate or other communication quality. SOLUTION: Payload data are received from the transmitting client of each of transmitter units, overhead data are added to the payload data, and the payload data transmitted to a receiver unit and decoded are outputted to a receiving client. A receiving means uses the overhead data for controlling and managing the payload data. The channel of the system can be adapted to the bit data rate of the payload data and the channels can be mutually asynchronously operated. Thus, the necessity of justification inside set data is avoided. Further, when adding the overhead data to the payload data of each transmitter unit, the numbers of bits on both sides are made into fixed ratio, decoding of the set data is facilitated and the bit error rate can be easily determined therefrom. |
