<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a smooth traffic flow and also to eliminate a traffic backup while taking a measure to meet the impropriety occurring during a temporary stop type operation of an ETC system at a tollgate of a toll highway. SOLUTION: This fare reception system includes a backup monitor camera 31 which detects a traffic backup, a backup monitoring controller 32 and a lane controller 11 which always releases a start control machine 16 placed at the exit of an ETC correspondence lane when a traffic backup is detected.</p> |
