PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device which can easily compose and edit an image and a recording medium where a program implementing the method is recorded. SOLUTION: In a display screen frame 30, input image windows 31A and 31B, a work window 32, and an operation state temporary holding window 33 which can take an image in among the windows 31A, 31B, and 32 and temporarily saves the image so that it can be displayed respectively are arranged at specific positions, and image input through the respective windows 31A, 31B, and 32, image copying among all the windows, the processing of an image in the work window 32, and the display image update of the operation state temporary storage window 33 are performed; and the current operation image of the work window 32 and one of images saved in the operation state temporary storage window 33 are displayed so that they can be compared with each other.
