PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure capable of reducing NRRO and rotational resistance of a ball bearing. SOLUTION: A pressing part 14 protruding in a free state from an inner face of a pocket 10a composing a cage 8a is provided in a deep part of the inner face. An thickness excluded part 15 opening to a bottom of a main part 9 composing the cage 8a is provided in a portion which is a part of the main part 9 matching with the pressing part 14 for providing spring to this pressing part 14. A ball is pressed against inner portions of a pair of elastic pieces 11 and 11 of an inner face of the pocket 10a by resiliently pressing this ball by the pressing part 14 in a state with the ball held inside the pocket 10a. As a result, a gap wherein the ball can be displaced inside the pocket 10a is eliminated for reducing frictional resistance of a sliding part between a rolling contact surface of this ball and an inner circumferential face of this pocket 10a.
