PURPOSE: To provide a vending system/service providing method for providing a customer service in a retail shop or the like while making it different for every customer. CONSTITUTION: A normal price (ordinary price) and prices by ranks are set for every commodity. The ranks are set in the basis of the buying results in the past of customers are after the customer is identified when purchasing a commodity, the buying result of the relevant customer for every commodity is referred to. Then, price information corresponding to the referred-to buying result is read and on the basis of this information, settling processing is performed. The system can deal with the other various service providing styles such as point issue, discount ticket issue and message output.
